MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation Biology
I am an island ecologist motivated by the functional dimension of animal conservation efforts under current global change. Particularly, I am interested in understanding how actions of fauna restoration can improve ecosystem resiliency by the recovery of functionally lost interactions.
My PhD research focuses on the role of pigeons as seed dispersers on oceanic islands, unravelling key ecosystem services provided by these large birds in defaunated and fragmented ecosystems.
